Event Shape

Meteor Falls begin with a warning, land at a world location, open a crater phase, and create a harvest window. The event is meant to pull towns out of their borders and force coordination.

  • Watch chat and the live map for active event coordinates.
  • Bring food, ranged supplies, recovery kits, and enough inventory space for crater materials.
  • Mine starfall nodes while handling the active boss variant's pressure.
  • A failed or ignored event can become a corruption danger site.
  • Fresh towns may see ambient corruption pressure before any natural boss.
  • Natural bosses stay gated until a town deliberately summons one boss.

Fresh Start Bridge

The first bridge from vanilla survival into Frontier Arcana should be readable from item lore and the guide flow.

  • Craft Town Charter with paper, feathers, oak planks, a stick, and coal.
  • Craft a starter Starfall Shard with amethyst, copper, and redstone.
  • Craft Meteor Report with shard, paper, redstone, and map.
  • Add copper, feather, and ink sac.
  • Craft Warden Lure with shard, rotten flesh, bone, and string.
  • Add leather, spider eye, and gunpowder.
  • Meteor Report plus Warden Lure is the deliberate first boss call.

Rewards And Pressure

Meteor Falls are the reliable source of Raw Star Iron, Meteor Hearts, Warden's Cinder, Meteor Core, and Warden Sigil progression.

  • Winning towns can convert event success into civic level requirements.
  • Individual contributors should route rare drops to the town plan before crafting luxury gear.
  • If corruption appears, handle cleanup before building nearby expansion routes.

Field Roles

A clean Meteor Fall run has scouts, defenders, miners, and cleanup carriers. Small groups can combine roles, but everyone should know whether they are extracting materials or protecting the extraction.

  • Scouts call coordinates, approach hazards, and retreat paths.
  • Defenders keep pressure off miners and break priority threats.
  • Cleanup carriers hold Cleansing Charms, Ward Pulses, and Recovery Kits in reserve.

Practical Checklist

  • Bring food, ranged supplies, recovery kits, and empty inventory space.
  • Split miners from defenders during the crater harvest window.
  • Check for a danger site after the event ends or fails.
