Guard Posts use a Target core and use their own 5x5 worksite. They require Town Level 2 when placed inside a town and a clear 5x5 footprint.
- Construction uses station holograms and starts as a timed build block before activation.
- The station worksite includes polished andesite flooring, iron bars, a bell, a target, and two armor stands around the corners.
- The tile-level footprint matches the common worksite approach shared across professions.
Guard Post Knight Patrol
Active Guard Posts call for non-player patrol support through ambient behavior and explicit guard-entity maintenance.
- The system targets nearby hostile mobs with station defense pulses.
- It keeps 1 Guard Post Knight at tier 1 and 2 Guard Post Knights at tier 2, and no more at higher tiers.
- Patrol guards are Iron Golems with the visible name `Guard Post Knight`, owned and cleaned by the station.
Work Orders
All Guard station work stays in the station menu and follows normal job timing and output rules.
- Drill Guard Kit gives 55 seconds / 45 XP.
- Issue Sentinel Badge gives 70 seconds / 60 XP.
- Brace Citadel Shield gives 85 seconds / 75 XP.
Patrol Lifecycle
The patrol is tied to station uptime and removed when the station block is removed or rebuilt elsewhere.
- Guards are removed when extra patrol mobs exceed the station tier allowance.
- Patrol entities are tagged to this station so they do not drift into unrelated defense scripts.
- Dismantling the station removes any remaining patrol entities for clean cleanup.
