Station Roster
Station kits are custom items that place profession work in the world. Stations can be personal or town-owned, and higher tiers increase what they can sustain through a nearby 5x5 worksite.
- Survey Board creates reports, route markers, and meteor readings.
- Arcanawright Focus binds ward fuel, Arcane Ingots, and Astral Thread.
- Each placed station now uses two display layers: a custom ItemDisplay marker using station kit art above the core, and a tagged `station_block_display` BlockDisplay core overlay that separates visual identity from the real logic block.
- Arcanawright Focus and Farmer Supply Crate now use taller build silhouettes, so station identity is clear from a greater distance.
- Mason Bench produces stonework, road markers, and ward foundations.
- Alchemist Cauldron creates recovery kits, corruption tonic, and cinder flasks.
- Hunter Blind prepares bounty tokens, arrow bundles, and Warden lures.
- Farmer Supply Crate now deposits town-owned ambient wheat into town treasury storage instead of relying on loose drops.
- Town-owned station GUIs show town supply counts; click withdraws one item and shift-click withdraws up to sixteen for player use.
- Guard Post creates watchwork for the defender lane and runs bounded station guards.
- Market Ledger, Warded Lantern Kit, and Astral Beacon Core act as higher civic station paths.
- Field recipes such as field_recovery_kit, field_arrow_bundle, field_cleansing_charm, field_route_marker, and field_guard_kit are available without the Forge.
Construction And Holograms
Every profession station now uses hologram construction visuals and the timer is part of game pacing, not just a menu flourish.
- Station placement first projects build holograms for the current core and build target.
- A custom marker stays above the core and a `station_block_display` visual overlay sits on the core, so the placed station does not read as only a vanilla logic block.
- Build duration now uses per-station buildMillis values and acts as a meaningful blocker.
- The station is inactive until construction finishes, then activates its worksite and queue as expected.
Testing And Admin Kits
Operators can use /faadmin kit stations to hand a player the current station kit set for wiki and flow validation.
- Validate that station sprites match the generated resource pack before public testing.
- Place every kit once and confirm that the map or guide flow references the intended station type.
- Keep station output names aligned with civic project requirements so players can trace cause and effect.
Ambient Worksite Behavior
A placed station starts active world behavior as part of its 5x5 layout.
- Farmers tend nearby crops when crops in their worksite need care.
- Hunters, Warded Lanterns, and Guard Posts defend nearby threats without direct player command.
- Guard Post patrols maintain station-focused Iron Golem Knights tied to the station owner.
- Other lanes broadcast their local tasks through clear particles and ambient outputs.
Town Layout Advice
Put early stations near shared storage and roads rather than scattering them across private homes. Stations are social infrastructure; the easier they are to find, the more likely players are to feed the town plan.
Practical Checklist
- Use /faadmin kit stations when validating the current station roster.
- Place core stations near town storage so outputs become shared infrastructure.
- Upgrade station coverage before starting material-heavy civic projects.
